Paul Fisher, the Australian producer known as FISHER, injects a sense of carefree enjoyment into his music productions, which prioritize the dancefloor experience by stripping away unnecessary complexities. Fisher’s roots trace back to the Gold Coast of Australia, where he spent years pursuing a career as a professional surfer. This lifestyle naturally led to its fair share of parties, sparking Fisher’s interest in DJing in 2005. However, it wasn’t until 2011 that he ventured into music production.
In 2017, Fisher embarked on a solo career, releasing a series of singles like “Ya Kidding,” “Stop It,” and “Ya Didn’t,” all under the Dirtybird label. The turning point came in 2018 with the release of his breakout track, “Losing It,” this time through his own label, Catch & Release.
